Convention, Meeting and Event App

A new meeting, convention, and event web-based app can be customized for groups who book their event in Sioux Falls. Customization includes your event/company logo, colors, agenda, speakers, notes, attendees, around town, maps, event updates, social and FAQ. Users will also be able to sign up to receive the CVB’s planner e-newsletter.

The app will not be available through the App Store or Google Play. The CVB will purchase the use of a domain extension (or link) to be used by the group in the pre-event marketing to all attendees for download. This allows for cross-device compatibility, as well as a more cost-efficient app-building process.

Credentials

Name badges are a great way for attendees to meet each other. We offer clip-on, elastic cord necklace, adhesive badges, and/or two sizes of lanyards at a minimal cost for your event in Sioux Falls. Name badges can be pre-printed for groups. All names must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to your event.

Entertainment, Spouse Programs, and Youth Activities

The CVB will provide you with a local entertainment guide, featuring talent in several areas including musicians, speakers, magicians, dance performances and more. We are available to assist you in planning additional activities, including theme events, city tours, speakers, spouse programs, and youth activities. If you have something special in mind, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to make it happen.

Housing Bureau

Our expert staff operates an internet-based housing service to coordinate the assignment of hotel rooms for conventions or events using three or more hotels and 500 or more rooms on peak night. All hotel accommodation requests are processed through the Bureau and confirmations are sent by the hotels. Meeting planners have access to view reservations and other database reports through the internet. Availability is limited and confirmed during the booking process.

Information Desks

Help your guests find their way around Sioux Falls. We provide information desks that offer free resources regarding Sioux Falls and its attractions and services. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can be on-hand to answer questions. There is a nominal fee of $5 per hour for each convention assistant.

Registration

Efficient registration service for your attendees is imperative to the success of your meeting. We will assist you with trained and experienced registration personnel. Our registration assistants may act as greeters, registrars, cashiers or ticket takers. A nominal fee of $5 per hour is charged for each registration/convention assistant.

Our experienced staff is highly skilled at networking with local suppliers. We will help you find any vendor, from bus companies to caterers.
